Areas of interest:  PHOTONICS; SENSING

TECHNOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OFFERED
Design and simulation of photonic devices (cavities, gratings and photonic crystals) and/or mechanical devices (cantilevers, MEMS) in the near infrared.
Characterization of passive photonic nano-devices in the near infrared (1520nm - 1570nm) in free space.
DESCRIPTION OF RELATED RESEARCH
Near-infrared optomechanics with chiral metasurfaces. Ability to design, fabricate, and characterize devices, particularly considering reflection/transmission of different polarization states and active modulation of the same by mechanical vibration.
