Knowledge is harnessed to develop nanobiotechnology tools and innovative nanoelectronic and photonic devices and architectures. The NEST laboratoru includes four institutions: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sns.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iit.it\/it\/research\/lines\/nanotechnology-for-precision-medicine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italian institute of Technology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scuola Superiore Sant\u2019Anna<\/a>, e <a href=\"http:\/\/cnr.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNR<\/a>with its Pisa branch of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nano.cnr.it\/?ente=pisa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nanoscience Institute<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artes4.it\/o\/artes-theme\/images\/Logo_artes.png\" alt=\"Artes 4.0\" width=\"106\" height=\"70\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nano.cnr.it\/?ente=pisa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pisa branch<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nano.cnr.it\/?ente=pisa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNR Nano<\/a>\u00a0participates in the  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artes4.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ARTES 4.0 Center of Competence - Advanced Robotics and enabling digital TEchnologies &amp; Systems 4.0<\/strong><\/a>, which aims to carry out applied research, technology transfer and training projects on advanced robotics and related enabling digital technologies within the framework of interventions related to the National Industry 4.0 Plan. The ARTES 4.0 Center is supported by the   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/index.php\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Economic Development.<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEST SERVICES TO BUSINESS (Technology Transfer).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1131\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trasferimentotecnologico.nano.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/pi_nest.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"12\"> CNR-NEST can flank private companies that intend to use the knowledge, skills and advanced instrumentation available at the laboratory to promote business innovation.
